First birthday DIY's

Dada and I have been working long and hard on stuff for your party!! It's so much fun but it still leaves that knot in my throat  knowing you won't be a baby much longer.

It's saved us much money doing things on our own rather then buying or ordering. We can't wait to see how it all comes together

This will be your invite. Dada worked for many hours on this!

This will be used for your pics that go on the centerpieces. Quite happy with how it looks !

We have your cake smash ordered. Your padrino will be buying your cake from Sams. My mom will be buying the burger meat. And we'd still have to buy the bread, hot dogs, nachos, drinks, and figure out what you'll wear the day of. 

We hired a face painter/balloon artist for that day. Daniel will be renting us out table, chairs and a moonwalk. I don't gave a pic but I also have the candy boxes ready for the kids. 

What else needs to be done? Lol

Dada took pics of us and I loved them! Even though I was ready to quit and come home, dada had the patience and calmness to keep trying.

First Mother's Day 5-8-16

I officially spent my first Mother's Day with you. It's a holiday I had been looking forward to for a very long time. To celebrate a day for being a mommy. 

That Sunday morning, dada and I woke up at 6 to get ready. We were going to spend our morning at Galveston. By 8 we hit the road and you fell asleep in the road which was perfect. You usually wake up around 930 so leaving at 8 worked out. By the time we arrived to the seawall it was about 9 and a few minutes later you woke up and had your Chita. Then it was time for your first encounter at the beach!! When we got you out if he car, it was a bit chilly and the wind was pretty strong so that kind of made you grasp for air but then you were fine. 

We found a spot in the sand and it didn't take you long to wonder around the sand. 

Your favorite though was a cone lol.

 Then dada took you to meet the beach

He was holding you at first but then when y'all came back to play on the sand for a bit...

You quickly wanted to return to see the water. You even decided to crawl there

Of course, you retuned full of dirt/mud

You really enjoyed it but unfortunately we forgot to carry towels and some water to rinse. We didn't expect you to be over exaggerated full of sand lol. We decided to leave the water early since it was chilly and your eyes and mouth were full of sand.

Dada got me this ring as a gift. It's a pearl. To represent you 

After we cleaned up and tried cleaning you as much as possible with wipes (you were crying bec you didn't like the naked and coldness). We headed to have lunch at rainforest cafe.

Since dada wasn't feeling well, he picked some nachos and we ordered some Mac n cheese for you 

We had to cut our trip short. Dada was feeling more and more sick. He felt as if the flu was going to hit. He had no appetite and shivers. We were supposed to go to the pleasure pier but I told him that can wait for another time . It's better he had some rest. 

As soon as we got in the car, you knocked out!

Even if it was a fast short trip. Not only did we enjoyed it but you loved it! I'm glad we got to take you to enjoy Mother's Day. I love you little guy

Loosing my cool

Yesterday was your madrinas and AJ's birthday. We had a day planned of morning spend it with your Madrina and in the evening with AJ. Well, it was 8 am when I heard you through the monitor crying. I watched thinking "you'll lay down (you were standing) and go back to sleep like you usually do" it didn't happen. I went in there trying to put you back to sleep bec you never wake up that early. If you stayed awake at 8 that means by 11 you'd want your nap... We were having lunch with Madrina at 11! I rocked you to sleep while sitting but you were just looking around. I had to get up (even though I didn't want to, my back has been hurting so much for the past week!) you were starting to daze off and I thought finally! I will go get ready while you nap a bit longer! as soon as I would lay you back to the crib you would wake up screaming and crying!!! I tried many times and next thing I know it was already 920!! Multiple times, I rocked you, sat down, walked away, and it all resulted in crying. But during my moments of frustration, I would raise my voice at you. I'm sorry baby. I'm sorry that sometimes I l just loose myself and get angry. I would never hurt you, you are my little heart, but rasing my voice at you when all you want to do is sleep in my arms is not any better. I'm sure you forgot all about it but I haven't. I haven't forgotten how I get so bothered and it makes you cry. How your little cry gets so emotional and tears build up in your eyes when we hardly ever see you cry with tears. I'm sorry my little guy. I try working on myself to have patience and calmness. Like dada. But sometimes being a mommy is very hard work. I promise to work on myself. To try and show you smiles and happiness. I don't want you to grow up being afraid of me. Or being afraid of my voice like I would be when my parents would be upset with me. I know you are okay and happy because not long after, you would smile at Me. I love you Liam. I'm sorry for not being the sweetest nicest mommy I wish I could be. But I'm trying.
