Cereal and Halloween

Today was a busy fun day for baby. We were told to try out cereal so you could have some practice. We had you only in a diaper since we knew you would get messy. It was so funny! He first try, you were unsure Nd just held it in your mouth. After a few more tries, you would eat a bit but a lot of it went all over your chin,neck and belly. After a while, you started recognizing the spoon. When you would see it, you would get so excited that you would open your mouth and grab your hands together. At one point, you even knocked the bowl out of my hand! So of course there was a mess everywhere and all over your legs!

Halloween we spent it passing out candies. Your dad put some pretty cool lights that many kids loved to watch and we got a few compliments from the parents. We hung out outside while we gave out candy, you sure liked being out there.

We can't wait for next year for the 3 of us to go out and ask for candies.

4 month dr check up

We just got home about a hour ago. You did great at the office. You weigh 16.14 lbs just .2 away from 17! And you are 26.25 in tall. Dr says you will be tall. She then went to check on your ears and we were laughing because it seemed as if you were wrestling trying to see what she was doing to your ears. You now move more to your sides so you gave her a bit of a hard time haha. She said your head is rounding out great. And we talked about eating cereal now. We're excited to try it out. Maybe In the weekend so daddy can be with us. Then came the hard part. You had 2 shots. On the first one, you didn't cry at all. The second one you did cry but just for a few seconds. You fell asleep in the way home. I put you in your crib where you slept for close to 45 min. I then took your bandaids off which you did not like. Now we're playing on the floor while we wait for Dada to come home.

We are so proud of you my love and thankful to God that you are growing great.

Today, you have grown a little more

Right now, I'm sitting in the couch in your bedroom. I can't leave you here alone. I laid you down in your crib with the Winnie the Pooh globe that you love and you were so calm. I wrapped up your legs with your blanket and handed you Blue to hold. I walked away to get the sheep that has sounds to go to sleep because the water globe only plays for less then 5 minutes. I turned off the lights, turned the fan on, and opened up more the blinds so you won't be in the dark. I hid for a few minutes by your crib to watch you as you just started into the ceiling so peacefully not even moving around. I finally saw you close your eyes! You have been asleep for 5 min now. You usually don't even want to be in your crib for tummy time, sometimes you're okay with laying in there wide awake. I can't believe you're asleep. I didn't even put the wedge under you to help you be inclined. I hope your tummy is okay to be asleep laying flat.

This morning, like always, after you have your first bottle, I swaddle you to sleep in your swing. You usually sleep for about 3 hours. And I'll nap too. Well, I woke up to hear you talking and doing little angry grunts. I saw you had slid down to the bottom of the swing, kicking non stop! A bit more and you would probably almost had fallen! I don't know if you could of actually fal but you seemed that way! Soon, you won't be sleeping in there anymore!

Earlier, when I fed you, I had you sitting in my lap while I burped you. You were non stop talking while you chewed on your finger. I would look at you and you would give me the biggest toothless smile. I then started to cry. Today you're 17 weeks old. A few more weeks And you'll have teeth, roll all over the place and soon start to crawl. Soon, you won't even want to be in my lap anymore. You'll want to be discovering as much as you can.

It seems as if today, you have grown a little more my love. Goodness,I love you beyond any word could ever explain. Even if I get scared of still being your mommy, you are my most precious gift. I love you son. Now and forever.

Happy 4 months

Today you turned 4 months old!! You're just growing so fast! This morning, you woke up and just waited in your rock and play without getting upset. We did the usual morning routine, gave you medicine, had your bottle, and went to sleep. Dada came home for lunch and after that, we went to pick up your grandma to join us to HEB to pick go your Jack skellongton cake and some balloons. When we got home, I took your usual monthly pictures. This time , it was so funny because you put your hand in the frosting! It was black so you were completely stained! You started crying but I think it's from the texture of the frosting on your hand that you did not like. Later today, dada took us to eat at Panda Express and to Walmart to pick up some stuff to eat for the weekend. There's supposed o be a lot of rain and flooding this weekend due to a hurricane hitting Mexico.

Dada and I sure do enjoy taking pictures of you on your monthly birthday with your cakes and balloons. We hope you enjoy them baby.

October fun dress up

Baby's first Halloween

I On Saturday, daddy to us to Babies R Us for a "Baby's first Halloween" event. To be honest,we thought it would be more exciting and fun, but it was pretty slow. They were unorganized, asking each other what to do. But it's okay. We like to take you out so you can see around and have fun. There, you met the giraffe, they read a Mickey Mouse story and they had a parade where you walk around the store. We couldn't do it because when we started waking, you decided it was time to eat. After that, they raffled some prizes but we didn't win anythinG. That night, your dada took me out to a nice Italian dinner at Marvinos. We left you with grandma . She said you cried but because you were hungry. I'm glad we get to spend time with you and that daddy and mommy can still have time to spend with each other.

How much you have grown

On Tuesday, we played in your room during the day. While you were in the floor, I pulled out from your dresser the first pj that no longer fit you. I still remember the night when the newborn pj didn't fit you, I cried for a good while. I put it next to you while you laid down and it looks so little! I also put next to you one of the pj that I loved so much. Also new born. You'll be 4 months soon. You are seriously growing so much.
