Christmas Day

You officially had your first Christmas day, and we officially had our first Christmas day as our little family. What a beautiful thing to say. Many times through the day i did feel a knot in my throat of just watching you and thinking of how wonderful God is.
We woke up this morning and let you open a few gifts from Mama and Dada. You started to get sleepy so we had to only do a few so that we could of fed you and you took a nap. While you napped, Dada and i baked cookies to take to my parents house and we got ready.
We went to say hi to your Dadas parents first before taking off to my parents home. You did so good and had so much fun opening the gifts from your grandparents and primo AJ.
We did come home early today, at around 630 because we , including your grandparents, were so tired from being up late last night.
we got home and let you open the rest of your gifts and play with them the rest of the evening.
since you were smaller, i try to tell you "vente" and then ill pick you up, but this afternoon it seems like now you know the meaning of it because twice you reached out your arms for me. well, you tried to at least. it made me feel so nice. Youre learning so fast!

 You are still a bit sick but you seemed better then yesterday. Last night, having Julian's humidifier truly did help you sleep through the night and during this morning nap. you still cant get that phlegm out of your throat which i know it bothers you because it makes you want to cry. dada and i cant stand seeing you in discomfort.

Merry Christmas Eve

You Merry Christmas Eve my little love!

This morning you unfortunately woke up sick. Since last night you were having a rough night, tossing and turning. Dada even found you this morning with your head opposite side of the bed!! You have a dry cough, phlegm, and a runny now with watery eyes. I know it's just a little cold but it breaks my heart seeing you sick. You're a tough baby. Besides not feeling well, you still manage to play and smile as much as you can. I wish you wouldn't get sick. I wish you could just be happy and silly and have no discomfort. But I'm stuck not being able to take that away from you and just trying to do our best we can to comfort you as much as possible. We spent Christmas Eve at your Dadas parents house. We had a nice time and I know you did too. We left at 11. We wanted to get you in bed since it was already late. You were so tired but you wanted to keep partying lol.  It's officially now 12:02. Merry Christmas my love.

Happy half birthday!

You're 6 months today!!! I feel like just yesterday you were born! 6 incredible months. Right now you're sleeping. Although it did take you a few minutes to go to sleep. Last night you did so great all night. Your grandma, Nathen and Bryan were here today for most of the day. When you were on the floor, you wouldn't stop rolling all over!! Finally you got the hang of it but I think it's from sleeping in the crib too. You've been practicing.In the evening, we went to my parents house to help put their Christmas tree up. It looked so nice. Well I will cut it short here. I have to go to sleep since wel be very busy tomorrow for Christmas Eve!! Good night my little love. I love you so much!

Dada is home for the week

Dada will be staying the rest of the week with us !! He was able to get these days off to spend Christmas week together. Today our first day, we were pretty lazy all morning. It didn't help that I was very sleepy. Last night (your third on the rock n play) you woke up for around a hour or so trying to go back to sleep. You also woke up earlier this morning then the usual. We later went to Heb and bought you your 6 month cake. After, we went to visit my parents for a little while. I'm sure you know dada is home because of how you've been all day, different schedule then your usual. But it's okay, we have to enjoy us all being together. Good night love, let's hope you sleep well tonight.

Pack n play, chuck e cheese, grandparents

 Last night you went to sleep in your pack n play! We took away your rock n play. Last time you slept in there was when you were 10 weeks. At 10 weeks, we had been practicing for a week, you had done great until your doctor mentioned you had reflux and said for us to have you sleeping inclined. We had put you back in your rock n play and you slept all night ever since. I guess I just got to comfortable with the rock n play. Seeing how you would sleep all night and it helped me a lot have a good night sleep. But even though you would sleep all night, dada and I could tel you would be uncomfortable at times. You would sleep, but you would want to move around or stretch but you couldn't because you were to long in there. Well, last night you slept good. I think I was more nervous but you did good. I think I'd wake every hour or two to check on you but I would also hear you making little grunts (but you always do that). At 5:15 am you cried a little but I patted your booty and you went to sleep. Next thing I knew, dada was waking up to say that it was already late, 930am!! That's the first you sleep that late! Wow! I had to get you up because you needed to have your medicine and eat. 

Your tio Franco brought aj over while they went to a Christmas party. We took you both to chuck e cheese! Aj loves going there and that was yoir first time going.  You were looking around at all the stuff but then you decided to go to sleep until we left haha. 

Your grandparents came back from Mexico today after being gone a week!! I think you were happy to see them since you kept smiling. 

Wel baby, it's time to go to sleep. Well, you finished your bottle with Dada but you are wide awake watching tv!! Oh goodness, the both of you!! 

I hope you continue having great nights sleeping baby.
